Windsocks

Windsock is a conical or cylindrical device that is used to indicate the direction and speed of the wind. They are often used at airports, on ships, and on other structures where it is important to know the direction and strength of the wind. Windsocks are typically made of a lightweight fabric that is designed to be easily moved by the wind, and they have a long tail or streamers that flutter in the wind to show the direction of the air flow. The size of the windsock and the length of the streamers can also give an indication of the wind speed, with larger windsocks and longer streamers indicating stronger winds.
